For those who are not familiar with characteristics of silicone rubber, please note the following when building your own servo connector;
- Silicone rubber is a very soft and elastic material. When working with crimping contact to silicone rubber insulation, DO NOT over tighten the crimp.
- Over tightening the crimp will have a 'squeezing rubber ball' effect on the silicone rubber insulation, especially on the end of insulation where the end material flares out. This will cause interference when attempting to slide the crimped contact into the connector housing.
